Presentation by Professor John Houghton from the Centre for Strategic Economic Studies, Victoria University, at the Where is the evidence conference, held at the National Library of Australia on 10 October 2012.


Research reports, or grey literature as they are also known, are an essential part of many disciplines including public policy. While access to these reports has become easier in many respects, online publishing presents many challenges as well, particularly for collecting organisations.

We are very pleased to announce that Professor Marian Simms, Executive Director for Social, Behavioural and Economic Sciences at the Australian Research Council has kindly agreed to  officially launch the Grey Literature Strategies project at a ceremony to be held during the Where is the Evidence conference at the National Library on Wednesday 10 October.
